Humanity Calendar is a social canvas for sharing and self expression. For the 2023 edition, we invite the world to share images and stories of your life. The idea is simple: share freely – piece of art that you are working on, or a story of a certain someone you know, or just a casual snippet of how your day went. The calendar is our ultimate masterpiece where we showcase our collective humanity and creativity.

Humanity Tiles
The Humanity Calendar is made up of individual Humanity Tiles. Each tile, tokenized as an NFT, has a date embedded – that is your special place on the calendar.

Your Humanity Calendar NFT gives you access to our dashboard where you can update the content and metadata of the NFT to make it uniquely yours.
Featured daily
We feature 6 contributions from the community daily. The date on your NFT reflects the date which your NFT will be featured. Your content will always be publicly available, but on this special day, it will be showcased to the entire community.
Monthly Spotlight by the Curator
The Curator will highlight six of the month’s most impactful Humanity Tile. Each contributor will receive a meaningful token of appreciation from humanity.
Physical Humanity Tile
At the end of the year, you are able to acquire a physical version of your Humanity Tile –complete with options on how you want your content to be celebrated.
Airdrop and Community Rewards
Redeem free rewards and participate in Humanity Events where you can be rewarded for sharing, voting, and being an active voice in the community.
Year End Redemption
All Humanity Tile owner can redeem back the primary mint cost of the NFT 0.2ETH on 31 Dec 2023. You will continue to own the token, and retain any rights and bonuses associated with the NFT.

This project is an art-meets-tech piece created by art duos, Ivan and Max.
The Humanity Calendar draws parallel to the creative works and inspiring events created on a canvas that bound us all, time. Through this project, we want to invoke a sense of identity through common creativity and our innate ability to co-create. We hope that the calendar will be a beautiful reminder that life is to be celebrated and indeed – humanity connects us all. We believe that our collective work can inspire generations of derivative art anchored around co-creation.
Throughout the next year, we will be putting in massive resources and reinvesting the proceeds into attracting influential artists, creatives and storytellers onto the platform, while engaging closely with brands, galleries, and creative institutions around the world to bring our humble yet ambitious project to more people around the world.
The new year is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to see what we can create together.

2,190 Humanity Tiles will be available for minting at humanitycalendar.com for 0.2ETH. The dates on your Humanity Tile will be concealed upon minting – reveal will happen on 1 Feb 2023, at the stroke of midnight UTC.

Humanity's NYE
This will be the final day to make changes to the 2023 Edition NFTs. All metadata and assets will be frozen, immortalizing our collective interpretation of the year. All NFTs that has participated in this edition will be eligible to redeem a reward.
What are the release details for Humanity Calendar NFT?
Humanity Calendar NFT (“Humanity Tiles”) will launch on 31 Jan 2023 at 7PM UTC, for 0.2ETH. There will be a total of 1,920 tiles released.
Humanity Calendar will be available to Humanity Tiles owner on New Year Day, and for public access on 8th Feb 2023.
How does a Humanity Tile work?
The idea is simple: with a Humanity Tile, you can update the image and metadata of your tile to make it uniquely yours. Each day, we feature content from six Humanity Tiles from the community, and collective content will go into making this year's edition of Humanity Calendar.
Ideally, each Humanity Tile will be an original work, that tells us more about the world and our humanity. The Human Calendar is truly – a collaborative masterpiece in the making.
What can I share on Humanity Calendar?
Absolutely anything you'll like. We are thrilled to see what you share! In this initial phase, we want to be liberal with our approach but do note that there will be content moderation in place. We will reset the metadata to any offending content, if any.
Any other project-related matter should I know?
The project will be deployed via ERC-721A contract – of which, 20 tokens are earmarked for artist collaborations which we will announce in March 2022. As this is a collaborative project, We will also be keeping primary supply open until it’s fully minted. So tell your friends and family about it!
How will the proceeds from the primary minting be used?
The token from primary launch will be designated in a multi-sig setting. They will primarily be used to ensure that all NFTs are fairly distributed, and creatively used.
The funds will also be deployed to complement the organic content created by our community by partnering with artists, creatives, causes, and brands – in short, to gather more content and more exposure. All unused funds will be returned back to token holders at the end of the year.
What other financial consideration are there for the project?
For the a 3-year period, 60% of all revenue driven from publicity, exhibition, creative production and reproduction, sale/consignment, and merchandising will be attributed to the respective token holder (if any), while the remaining 40% will go into a common pool that will be equally distributed across all token holders. Additionally, all token holders will be able to redeem back the original mint cost of the token at the end of the year.
Where's your roadmap?
We think roadmaps are often too optimistic and doesn't translate well if the dApp and community does not come through. We want to focus on our content, product, and community first before diving deeper into web3. We've built real actual utility by way of our Humanity Tiles – and that's just the start. We will share our initial timeline once we've calibrated it post-minting phase when we are able to have a better view of how active our community is.
Will there be a Humanity DAO?
We want to ultimately put the community in the driver seat at some point in time for spearheading new initiatives, so yes – we will eventually design a DAO that will be able to shepard future editions of Humanity Calendar. For a start, we will be rolling out some token-gated activities and voting to get a sense on how to best structure the DAO.
What’s the team’s view on metaverse and your part in it?
While we are excited about creative works in the AR and XR space, we do not think we can meaningfully participate or lead the metaverse story. It’s a good marketing play for sure, but we would rather focus on the successful edition of Humanity Calendar. We have much bigger aspiration for it in the reality so do look out for those in the coming months.
